Samsung has begun sending out its latest July 2025 security update, starting with the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S24, and Galaxy S25 Series. This time, the updates are landing on the last-gen foldables—Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are receiving a new update starting from South Korea that integrates the July 2025 security patches: these are the F956NKSS2BYFC and F741NKSSU2BYFC firmware, respectively, which still require a rather consistent download (over 400 MB).
Samsung didn’t stop at phones; the fresh update is also available for Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro in South Korea. The new versions identify R530XXU0AYG2 for the Buds 3 and R630XXU0AYG2 for the Buds 3 Pro. After updating, users should notice improved performance and a more reliable connection process when pairing.
While the newest Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 phones come pre-installed with the Android 16-based One UI 8, owners of the Fold 6 and Flip 6 are yet to receive the update. For now, they can install this important July 2025 security patch. To do it, just open your phone’s settings, go to “Software update,” and tap “Download and install.” Buds updates are applied via the Galaxy Wearable app.
