Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series gets July 2025 Security Update

Samsung has already distributed the July 2025 security patch to multiple Galaxy smartphones, but if we talk about the tablets specifically, then the company has only been spotted giving the update to only the Galaxy Tab S8 series; now it has started expanding to more devices, including the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.

Samsung is rolling out the July 2025 security patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ with the firmware version numbers X510XXS8CYG1 and X610XXS8CYG1. The update is currently available in South Korea and expected to be available in more countries in the next few days.

If you are also using the Galaxy Tab S9 FE in South Korea, you can now check out the update via system settings from the software menu. Apart from these, the update could also bring other changes that will be available for the devices in the coming days

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is one of the affordable tablets that was released back in 2023 with Android 13. Later it received two major updates as One UI 6 based on Android 14 and One UI 7 based on Android 15.

Is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE still worth buying?

The device still could be the smart buy in the affordable category, as it will get two more major updates and support for three years. However, if you want the latest hardware, then you can also go for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series devices as well.
