Earlier this month, Samsung has already updated several core apps with One UI 8 support. This includes the application from Good Lock and Good Guardians. Now another app- NotiStar compatible with latest Android 16 and One UI 8 via new update.
A fresh update NotiStar is available with version 8.0.17.0. According to the changelog, it only says to bring the support of One UI 8, which means the application is now compatible with the Galaxy devices running on Android 16.
If you are using one of the devices that is running on One UI 8, then you should start getting the update on your device. You can install the update by going to the Galaxy Store. In case the update hasn’t reached your device yet, you can also sideload the app from external sources.
The NotiStar is a Good Lock module that provides different services to customize the notification functionality according to user preference. For instance, you can set a specific time limit for how long notifications are stored or choose to store them indefinitely.
As far as the availability of One UI 8 for other Galaxy devices is concerned, there are some rumors circulating about the expansion from early next month.
