Apple Becomes a Fan of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7?

Samsung didn’t even need to mock Apple this time, as it mocked itself by posting the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s promotional video via its official Weibo handle.

Earlier this month, Samsung, on July 9, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, launched the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable phones. Still, the company is working on debuting its very first triple foldable (Galaxy Tri Fold) by the end of this year.

Whereas its rival Apple has not even debuted in the foldable segment yet; however, a few reports suggest that under the hood, it is gearing up to introduce its first foldable iPhone soon. Meanwhile, all of a sudden, it has made fun of itself mistakenly by sharing Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Z Flip 7 promotional video.

A reliable tipster, Ice Universe, on X, shared a post, revealing that a few hours ago in China, Apple, via its Weibo account ‘Apple Support,” accidentally published a promotional video for the Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, the video was later promptly taken down, but the tipster had already captured the mess-up.

Apple has yet to release a statement regarding this matter, whether it mistakenly published the video or has any strategic plan behind the post. Two weeks ago, Samsung hinted that Apple’s foldable iPhone is on its way, as it could be launched sometime in the second half of 2026. Apple is anticipated to adopt Samsung’s UDC technology for its first foldable iPhone. Since Apple hasn’t revealed any details regarding its upcoming foldable phones, it will be interesting to see whether it will stand strong against Samsung’s foldable phones.
