Android Auto 14.9 Beta brings Material You coloring accents that matches your phone’s wallpaper

Google is perhaps looking towards integrating the new Material You theming within its most considered driving companion, Android Auto, a new report suggests.

While a previous report has already claimed that Android Auto is being prepared to acquire Google’s iconic Material You coloring theme, now, a recent report by 9To5Google further suggests that while analyzing the latest Android Auto 14.9 beta version, it was noticed that Google has been hiding a flag that pops out the availability of displaying changes in the Material You theme colors on the basis of changing wallpaper on their phones.

Basically, Android Auto is perhaps acquiring the Material You coloring theme all throughout the UI, while at the same time, the Android Auto background is supposed to get a slight change.

From now on, the Android Auto owners will soon be able to bring their phone’s wallpaper’s coloring accents to their car’s infotainment system, thanks to the Material You coloring theme.

In simple words, once a user changes the phone’s wallpaper, the Material You engine will acquire the changes and interactively reflect the same coloring accents as the Material You color accents on the vehicle’s built-in system.

However, the source further stated that this newest change appears to be from server-side changes, and hopefully, Android Auto could soon get a proper Material You theme in future updates. Well, Google is already rolling out the latest Android Auto 14.9 Beta, while this capability is supposed to be supported on Android devices, and thus, Samsung Galaxy owners will perhaps be able to see Android Auto’s Material You coloring accents in the coming future.
