Galaxy A17 Full Specifications and Design Revealed Via Promotional Material

Samsung seems all set to add one more addition to the mid-range Galaxy A series called the Galaxy A17, and now the full specs, features, & renders of the device have surfaced online.

In the first half of this year (1H 2025), Samsung has already launched several smartphones under the Galaxy A lineup, including the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. Now, the company is working on more smartphones to debut soon under the same lineup, such as the Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A07.

Meanwhile, one of our colleagues, Android Headlines, revealed the new renders, specifications, and features of the upcoming Galaxy A17 smartphones. According to the report, the device will measure 7.5 mm in thickness and weigh 192 g. Whereas its predecessor, the Galaxy A16, measures 7.99 mm thick and weighs 200g.

Reportedly, the Galaxy A17 will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is here to protect the display. The triple camera setup will include a 50MP primary, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. However, Samsung is offering OIS to the main camera.

The notable part of the device is the memory package, as it will be available in three RAM variants, including 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM, which will all be paired with 128GB of internal storage. Whereas the 8GB can also be paired with 256GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of storage.

It will have a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W charging support, and the charger will be included in the box, at least in Europe.

The report says Samsung will integrate a slew of AI features with the upcoming Galaxy A17, including Gemini built in, coupled with access from the power button, Circle to Search, and Cross App AI.

It will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and will receive six major OS updates and six years of regular security patches.

Recently, the 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy A17 have been spotted on an Italian retailer website. Apart from this, it has also appeared on multiple certifications, which hints at the near launch, for instance, Geekbench, BIS, and FCC.
