Galaxy S25 Reaches 3 Million Units Sold, Much Faster Than Galaxy S24

Samsung Galaxy S25 phones are still creating new benchmarks in terms of sales, as they have now reached three million units sold in their home country, South Korea, just within six months.

The Korean tech giant debuted the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The lineup includes three models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. A few months later, the company launched one more variant under the same series called Galaxy S25 Edge. Now it is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy S25 FE, maybe next month.

Meanwhile, Samsung announced that the firm sold out over 3 million units of the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea, just within six months. A new report revealed that the lineup has touched the 3 million target two months earlier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 series, in Korea.

Samsung said one of the major reasons behind setting a new sales benchmark is its Galaxy AI subscription plan that helped attract more buyers. Galaxy AI is a model that allows customers to use select Samsung phones via a monthly subscription plan, where the company guarantees a buyback of the device at 50% of the original cost of the phone one year later.

On the other side, Samsung also revealed that the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 have higher sales than their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6; however, it didn’t reveal the exact metrics.

Now, the company has started working on the next-generation Galaxy S26 series with new branding. It will be interesting to see whether it will break the Galaxy S25’s sales record.
