Samsung has previously announced One UI 8-based features and upgrades for its Good Lock suite, and now, the modules have gradually started receiving One UI 8 support.
After Home Up, Theme Park, and NavStar, Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Good Lock’s ClockFace app, which is identified with a new version number, v3.4.00.4, and is now available to download via the Galaxy Store.
Most prominently, the latest update for the ClockFace app brings the integration of the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 support, where the Galaxy devices (including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models) running One UI 8 will be able to have a more enhanced and upgraded user experience.
At the same time, the update further adds an ability to exclude battery optimizations in order to provide a better clock display in the ClockFace. And lastly, the update further fixes the issue where the icons are exposed in order to offer a smoother and more stable user experience.
Basically, the Good Lock’s ClockFace is responsible for managing and offering customizations of clocks, where users can choose a clock style from various suggested items, customize and personalize the clock in the preferred style, search and add GIF images, extract and add the item that is needed to be added, and apply various clock faces.
Well, One UI 8 is currently only running on Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models, while the Galaxy S25 family is also testing the One UI 8 beta. Therefore, the latest update will be available gradually on all eligible Galaxy devices once the newest version is rolled out globally.
