Samsung’s One UI 8 will now be entering into another stage, where more devices will be getting the One UI 8 beta program. At the same time, the expansion of the beta program is then followed by the stable rollout, and thus, Samsung has clearly announced the One UI 8 stable rollout timeline for the Galaxy S25 series.
The latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta program for the current S series smartphones, the Galaxy S25, was initiated in May, with the company having already released four beta builds for the models. Now, Samsung confirmed that it will be focusing on the stable rollout for the S25 family; meanwhile, other Galaxy devices will run the One UI 8 beta build simultaneously.
More specifically, Samsung took it to the official newsroom in order to share that, beginning in September, the One UI 8 stable rollout will proceed with the Galaxy S25 series, followed by other eligible Galaxy devices sequentially.
One UI 8 Stable Update Coming in September
With the Galaxy S24 family getting the One UI 8 beta program next week, Samsung will start releasing the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 series in September.
Well, Samsung’s progress with One UI 8 is commendable, as it appears like the company is focusing on not repeating any mistakes that caused One UI 7 to be delayed right from its initial phase. At the same time, if the previous report is to be believed, then it seems like Samsung has adopted Google’s Trunk Stable development model, which is eventually helping Samsung to release One UI 8 earlier than before.
