One UI 8 Beta Coming to Galaxy S24 and S23: Dates Revealed

Samsung is smoothly progressing with One UI 8, its next major operating system, designed for the Galaxy ecosystem and will run Android 16 on top. Right after the official announcement, a new leak suggests a release date for the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series.

Recently, Samsung made an interesting announcement where the company revealed that it’s going to begin the expansion of the One UI 8 beta program for more eligible Galaxy devices, starting next week, while also confirming that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first lineup to be treated with the beta update.

Meanwhile, a recent report from a tipster, Tarun Vats on X, claims that he has been getting some information from his sources that Samsung might be considering rolling out the latest One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series, beginning on August 13th, while also suggesting that the Galaxy S23 series will perhaps be getting the beta from September 8th.

However, the tipster itself is not confirming anything and further states that there is supposed to be 1 to 2 days up or down in the exact release dates. At the same time, if the leak is to be believed, then it’s possible that Samsung Galaxy S24owners are going to be treated with a One UI 8 beta update anytime soon, starting next month, which is then followed by the Galaxy S23 series from September.

Well, Samsung has officially clarified that the Galaxy S25 series, which is already testing One UI 8 beta 4, will start receiving stable versions beginning in September; however, the exact release date is not yet confirmed, while all the other eligible Galaxy devices will be receiving One UI 8 beta in the meantime.
