No Stable Yet: Galaxy Watch 7 Gets One UI 8 Watch Beta 2

Samsung initiated the One UI 8 Watch beta program rollout with the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models a while ago. Meanwhile, it’s surprising! The company is already dispatching yet another One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 for the same Galaxy Watch 7 units.

Right after elaborating on the latest One UI 8 Watch that runs Wear OS 6 on top, with the Galaxy Watch 8 series already pre-installed with the build, Samsung began releasing beta builds for its previous generation Galaxy watches, but currently, the Galaxy Watch 7 models are already getting One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 and have been spotted in their hometown, South Korea, and the US.

More specifically, the second beta update for the Galaxy Watch 7 units has been identified with an all-new version number, ZYH2, and at the same time, this newest update, however, carries a minor update size of around 160MB, which hints that the version only packs a few key improvements to the entire wearable’s functionality to offer a more efficient behavior and performance, while also fixing some key bugs if detected.

Changelog: One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 – ZYH2

Major changes and improvements

  • Fixed the issue that it does not automatically shut down after automatic recognition of outdoor bicycle exercise
  • Fixed the issue that the wrist lift on does not working when sleep mode is released

At the same time, One UI 8 Watch officially brought about a lot of significant features and changes, with features gradually being included in all the eligible Galaxy watches. These features apparently consist of Bedtime Guidance, Running CoachAntioxidant Index, and Vascular Load. Basically, the new One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 only appears to bring some minor improvements for all the existing features.

Well, the Galaxy Watch 7 owners residing in South Korea and the US who have already participated in the One UI 8 Watch Beta program can automatically get enrolled into One UI 8 Watch Beta 2, and on the other hand, the remaining watch owners can get enrolled into the latest Watch beta version via the Samsung Members app.
