Samsung has released the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S25 series, which is now live in India, the UK, South Korea, and Germany.
Right after a gap of three weeks after releasing One UI 8 Beta 4, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra units are currently receiving yet another beta update of the One UI 8 skin, which carries the version number ZYH6. More specifically, the fifth beta update significantly brings a bunch of key fixes and other relevant improvements that are essential for a smoother and more efficient performance.
According to the changelog, the latest One UI 8 beta 5 update is all about bug fixes, specifically including fixes for the hotspot errors, size issues of the lock screen clock, fixes for the S Pen’s Air command, quick settings window error, fixes for the overlapping of quick settings and notifications, Now Brief content errors, and more.
Not just this, it’s important to note that the latest beta update significantly integrates the new August 2025 security patch, which will play a crucial role in improving the system’s overall security, stability, and functionality and in turn provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external attacks or threats.
Well, at the time of writing, the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 beta 5 update is currently available in a few selective regions listed above; it’s expected that the update will reach more Galaxy S25 beta participants in other major countries such as the US over the near future.
At the same time, Samsung has just initiated yet another beta version for the Galaxy S25 series before the scheduled timeline for official release in September; however, it’s not clear, but it looks like a stable release will be the next stop!
