Samsung shines incredibly bright when it comes to bringing evolution in terms of innovation and technology. In July, Samsung introduced an Android Auto alternative, named Samsung Auto, for the first time; meanwhile, the company is currently working on providing some amazing features, all thanks to One UI 8 support.
After making its debut exclusively in China in July, Samsung Auto already started getting One UI 8 support, and not just that, the support apparently brings some exceptional features and upgrades, which appear to be making the service more powerful than Google’s Android Auto.
With One UI 8, last time, Samsung Auto received the screen mirroring ability for the car head unit while also adding the app voice call continuity feature. At the same time, the same tipster, GalaxyTechie, via X, again shared a new post that suggested a few more interesting additions within the Samsung Auto service.
According to the post, due to the integration of One UI 8 support, Samsung Auto now gets all-new widget cards along with their descriptions. These cards include weather, calendar event schedules, travel navigation info, call transcripts, Now Brief, nearby services such as parking stations and gas stations, and parcel reminders.
Not just this, Samsung has further added a new music menu, which is placed in Settings, that will allow users to turn on autoplay immediately after connecting with the car’s head unit. Also, a sound menu has also been added that in turn lets users play audio via the car’s Bluetooth either with or without independent and separate sound channels.
Well, indeed, Samsung’s One UI 8 may not be as massive as One UI 7, but it significantly brings some exceptional upgrades and changes that were not included in the previous OS. At the same time, with the inclusion of One UI 8 support, Samsung Auto will apparently offer a more enhanced and improved driving experience to the users.
