Samsung’s August 2025 Security Update is now available for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3

Samsung is now looking towards expanding its August 2025 security update to even more Galaxy devices, and from various flagships, now, the company has started delivering the update to its folding phones, while currently, it’s the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3’s turn.

Basically, Samsung is following a sequential pattern of distributing the August 2025 security update for all of its eligible Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 models are getting the August 2025 security update for the first time in a while, and the update is identified with the version numbers F926NKSSAKYGB and F711NKSSBKYGB, respectively.

Also, the update is currently spotted in Samsung’s home country, South Korea, and is expected to expand to more eligible countries over the coming weeks.

Going as per the details, Samsung’s August Android security bulletin, however, doesn’t showcase any major changes or features; instead, it primarily focuses on improving the system security and core functionality. It significantly brings a lot of fixes for all the security-based issues occurring in the earlier versions to provide a more secure experience to the users, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Additionally, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior to offer a more efficient functionality and brings certain optimizations to the device’s performance that eventually lead to smooth, stable, and optimized functionality.

Well, Samsung is currently preparing to release yet another One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S25 series, which is already testing Beta 5. Since the stable One UI 8 version for the S25 family is all set to be released next month, it’s perhaps possible that Samsung could bring a new beta build for one last time before heading towards the stable One UI 8 release.
