Google showcased its Material 3 Expressive redesign a couple of weeks ago, and now, the company has already started expanding its latest makeover to a few of its services; meanwhile, the Google Clock app recently received the Material 3 redesign and is now available for Samsung Galaxy devices.
In case you missed it! Google showed off its major UI revamp, named the Material 3 Expressive redesign, via The Android Show, unveiling some of the most incredible UI changes that completely provide an all-new look to the system interface, with it being bold yet stunning.
Meanwhile, since Google is offering the Material 3 Expressive redesign for its services, even Samsung Galaxy owners can take advantage of the newly integrated redesign of the Google Clock app carrying version 8.1, according to the report by 9To5Google.
Specifically, with the Material 3 Expressive redesign, the Clock app gets a few significant changes. First up, the entire UI has been changed, while also highlighting the elements that are currently active. Next up is the Alarm tab with better toggles and bold fonts.
At the same time, a new World Clock tab has been added that now has a new icon, while the font is now slightly bold and amazing. Also, the day, date, and temperature are now separately placed, and lastly, the Plus icon in the center is now shifted to the bottom right corner.
The timer tab’s layout remains as usual with no specific changes, but the font is now more impressive than before. Whereas the Stopwatch tab ditches the old vertical placement of timing and is now arranged in a neat horizontal manner with more bold fonts. Lastly, the Bedtime tab remains entirely unchanged. Also, for tablets the Clock app gets a beautiful expanded layout, where the tabs come to the left side, the clock with bold fonts takes the center portion, and lastly, the timings of other regions are now placed below the actual clock.
