Samsung is currently putting efforts into providing the next-level experience via the One UI 8-based Good Lock suite. After announcing that the latest OS’ support will gradually be distributed to all the modules through the app updates, LockStar is getting a new update after receiving One UI 8 support.
Good Lock’s LockStar is designed to offer several customizations for Galaxy devices’ lock screens and AOD, where users can easily relocate components present on the lock screen and customize and personalize it their way by adding widgets, and it even provides the capability to access the most preferred apps directly from the lock screen.
The previous LockStar update brought the most significant One UI 8 support that apparently introduced some interesting and new lock screen fingerprint effects, alongside some essential capabilities that are powered with One UI 8 support. However, currently, only Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy S25 owners will be able to enjoy new added effects and enhancements until the OS reaches more Galaxy devices.
Now, the Good Lock LockStar tool is getting an update, which certainly takes it to an all-new version, v7.0.01.10, and is available to download via the Galaxy Store, or you can even install the latest version through the Good Lock app as well.
More specifically, the changelog, however, doesn’t list any major features or changes; rather, the update significantly fixes a few intermittent errors that may occur when performing package updates in order to avoid frustrating waits. At the same time, the update further solves the issue of notifications displaying on the Galaxy Tablet’s horizontal lock screen. Alongside, the update brings a lot of key improvements that eventually offer a more optimized user experience.
