Galaxy S26 Edge Battery Capacity Revealed Through a Certification

Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is supposed to replace the Plus variant from the Galaxy S26 lineup, and its battery has now appeared on the 3C certification.

The Korean tech giant has already started working on its next-generation Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to launch between January and February next year. The lineup will include three models, including the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. 

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the Galaxy S26 Edge will have a 4,200mAh battery packed into an ultra-slim 5.5 mm profile. However, some battery rumors suggest that it will have a 4,400mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Edge’s battery has now been spotted on the 3C certification, which revealed that the rated battery capacity of the device is 4,078mAh. This hints that the typical capacity could be 4,200mAh. 

However, there’s no official statement regarding the battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Edge, so it remains to be seen whether the typical capacity will be 4,200mAh or 4,400mAh. According to the previous report, the Galaxy S26 Edge could feature a 50MP camera from Sony. Recently, the device appeared on Geekbench’s database, which confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
