Samsung has delivered a major upgrade for Good Lock’s Home Up, thanks to the integration of the latest Android 16-powered One UI 8 version.
Indeed, the latest version brought about a collection of new features and changes; meanwhile, the company is delivering a minor update for tablet owners as well.
Samsung’s Home Up now compatible with Galaxy Tablets running on One UI 8
Good Lock’s Home Up, an app that is designed to manage all the customizations based on the phone’s home screen and app launch gestures or animations, app icon grouping on the home screen, and more, is receiving an all-new software update, which takes it to an all-new version number, v17.0.00.40.
Since the latest update for the Home Up app is now available to download via the Galaxy Store, the changelog, however, doesn’t bring any major features but significantly adds support for more eligible Galaxy tablets, alongside integrating One UI 8 support.
This eventually means that the newly launched Galaxy Tab S11 series has access to all the new features and changes made in the previous update, as the devices debuted with One UI 8 on board. Also, the support will be expanded to more eligible tablets once they are updated to One UI 8.
Not just this, the latest update further added a capability: when creating a desktop workspace on Galaxy tablets, the task changer layout will remain fixed by default so that users can easily switch in order to maintain their current task for better usability. And lastly, the update also adds various fixes for the relevant bugs and other stability improvements to provide a smoother, more stable, and more optimized user experience.
Well, Samsung is progressing with the latest One UI 8 version pretty well, with the Galaxy S25 series being scheduled for receiving the stable update starting this month; meanwhile, the company is also continuing to provide the update’s support to its apps and services.
