Samsung continues to release the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series; meanwhile, the device has just started receiving the 3rd beta.
Currently, starting with its home country, South Korea, the One UI 8 beta 3 build has been released for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, carrying a new version, ZYI3. However, the update is expected to reach more countries over the coming future.
Being a beta build, the current version also doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly packs a bunch of bug fixes and other relevant improvements. More specifically, the update fixes the issue where the lock screen clock position continues to move down, fixes a bug in order to prevent the applying of the stretched fonts, and fixes an issue where only the input text of the Now Bar, status bar, and lock screen PIN was displayed thin after the update.
At the same time, the update further improved an issue where the lock screen quick icon disappeared when in use. Also, the update significantly integrates the latest September 2025 security patch that focuses on increasing and strengthening the device’s overall security and core functionality to provide a more secure user experience.
With that, now, the Galaxy S24 owners can get to experience all the newly added features and changes ahead of the stable release, as they can now enroll in a new beta version via the Samsung Members app and provide feedback to Samsung during the ongoing beta program.
Well, Samsung is preparing to release the stable One UI 8 rollout for the Galaxy S25 series, starting this month; however, it remains to be seen when the stable version will be dropped.
