Samsung announced the new software, One UI 8 Watch, for its Galaxy Watches a while ago, while also clarifying that the stable version is said to arrive by the end of this year. At the same time, Samsung’s previous generation Galaxy Watch 7 models have been testing the latest Wear OS 6-based beta update since June, and now, a new beta update is here.
After releasing the One UI 8 Watch Beta 4, the Galaxy Watch 7 models have started receiving the fifth One UI 8 Watch Beta update in South Korea and the US with the version number ZYI4.
The new beta software for the Galaxy Watch 7 units significantly adds a few key bug fixes and improvements, such as the update improving the issue where the exercise automatically ends when the reminder to take medicine pops up when running, improving the issue where the health tiles are displayed blank, improving the issues where stuttering occurs while using the watch, and improving the issue where the watch gets forcefully disabled when raising the wrist while taking an exit from the sleep mode or AOD.
In addition, the update further improves the issue where the current time is not displayed correctly when the screen is turned off when the AOD is running, and lastly, the update improves the issue where the timer app is not running on the Galaxy Watch.
Accompanied by certain fixes and improvements, the latest One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 7 also integrated the September 2025 security patch in order to provide additional security and to offer a more secure user experience, while also keeping the device safe against malicious threats.
