Samsung is one of the leading brands in personalized health maintenance through innovative solutions that address the sleep gap & support overall wellness. Now, it highlights all of its innovations at World Sleep 2025.
The company says that all of its sleep and wellness innovations are centered around the newly launched Galaxy Watch 8 series and Samsung Health SDK. The Korean tech giant, on the occasion of World Sleep 2025, highlights that the Galaxy Watch 8 series is a major component of Samsung’s health offerings, integrated with multiple features that go beyond basic sleep tracking, which are as follows:
- Sleep apnea detection, vascular load, antioxidant index, bedtime guidance, and sleep coaching
Sleep apnea detects signs of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) right after two nights of monitoring, while the vascular load provides insights into how lifestyle factors such as diet and stress affect your cardiovascular health.
The bedtime guidance is based on the Two-Process Model of Sleep Regulation, which helps to analyze sleep patterns over three days. The Samsung Health app assigns a “sleep animal” and offers a personalized four-to-five-week coaching program with fixed targets and checklists, which helps to improve sleep habits.
Coming to the Samsung Health Software Development Kit (SDK), which is a suite of tools, allows developers to create applications that integrate with Samsung’s health ecosystem. It is crucial for accessing data and encouraging collaboration.
