Samsung Announces One UI 8 Rollout Plan for Smartphones and Tablets

Samsung announced earlier that it’s going to begin the stable One UI 8 rollout in September 2025, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series, and will follow up with more eligible Galaxy devices with the course of time. Meanwhile, the company has officially provided the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 rollout schedule for its Galaxy devices; check out when your phone will receive the update.

Since the current flagships, the Galaxy S25 series alongside the Galaxy S25 Edge, have started receiving the stable version, Samsung is preparing to release its major OS, the official Android 16-based One UI 8 update, for even more smartphones, tablets, and foldables in the coming months.

To recall, indeed, One UI 8’s progress looked very impressive since day one. Samsung initiated the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series at the end of May this year, which was then followed by seven beta releases until September.

At the same time, the company further made an announcement that other older Galaxy devices will also join the latest beta program, and thus, the expansion began!

The expansion of the One UI 8 beta program started with the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, which was followed up with other flagships like the S23 series alongside Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and some selected mid-tier models, including A36, A54, A55, and A35.
