Samsung started firmware testing for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro

Samsung has already started developing the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and now it has also begun firmware testing, hinting at the near launch.

A few months back, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, coupled with a minimalist design, powerful sound, active noise cancellation, and more convenient features. Now, it is looking forward to bringing the next-generation earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.

Recently, it’s been reported that new One UI 8.5 strings include the model number for two unannounced Galaxy earbuds, which are supposed to be the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, Alfatruk, shared a post on X, revealing that the company has started testing the firmware for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.

The firmware testing hints that the development is in full swing; it’s highly anticipated that both models will be introduced alongside the Galaxy S26 series sometime in early 2026. However, to date, there are not enough details regarding the specifications and features yet, so it remains to be seen exactly what new novelties it will bring compared to its predecessor.

According to the previous reports, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro has already been spotted on a trade analytics website, which also includes a few more upcoming devices, including the Galaxy Book6 Pro, Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, and Galaxy S26 Pro.
