Samsung’s focus on AI-powered innovations and technologies has acquired the topmost spot among all the other Android partners, thanks to its own Galaxy AI suite. Now, the upcoming One UI 8.5 version seems to be adding a few more AI features for the Galaxy ecosystem.
Well, Samsung is already looking forward to building a more powerful Galaxy AI that is packed up with great data control of the users, protecting their privacy. Simultaneously, a fresh leak suggests that the next OS, One UI 8.5, will bring even more new AI features.
According to the post shared on X, Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 is supposed to integrate even more AI-powered features for the Galaxy phones, including Meeting Assist, Touch Assist, Social Composer, and Smart Clipboard. It’s most likely that these features will be making their way with the newer Galaxy S26 series, which is already rumored to debut with One UI 8.5, powered by Android 16, out of the box.
More specifically, first up, the Meeting Assist, a feature that provides you all the real-time translations of meeting conversations and presentation screens quickly and more efficiently. Then, there’s Touch Assist, where the text shown on the screen will be processed in order to improve the reading efficiency of the users.
At the same time, there is a Social Composer feature, where users will be able to generate posts on the basis of images that they upload when using social media apps, and in shopping apps, the feature can generate reviews that are based on their purchases. And lastly, the Smart Clipboard features, where when copying content, users will get more intelligent recommendations for certain useful functions such as Correct, Translate, Summarize, Search, Open, and Add to Favorites.
