Samsung’s One UI 8 stable rollout is quickly moving on the track for its older devices in the Galaxy ecosystem. Since the update has already reached a few premium flagships, including the Galaxy S24 series. Now, it’s time for the Galaxy A55 owners to rejoice, as the stable One UI 8 update has begun rolling out for the device.
The Galaxy A55 took part in the One UI 8 beta program. Meanwhile, right after receiving two beta builds, specifically, the first stable Android 16-based One UI 8 firmware for the Galaxy A55 units comes with the version number A556SKSU6CYI6 and has a package installation size of over 1GB.
It’s important to note that the update is currently rolling out to all the users in South Korea; however, it’s expected to typically expand to more eligible regions over the coming weeks. Also, it appears like the global release could follow as early as possible.
Since Samsung’s latest One UI 8 stable version runs Android 16 on top, it significantly introduces a sleek and intuitive design for the entire system UI that adds more vibrant colors, neat and clean widgets, and optimized layouts.
