One UI 8 Watch Beta 2 is now available for Galaxy Watch 6 Series

Samsung Galaxy Watches are designed to track users’ regular health, while the company is continuing to adopt the most advanced approach towards providing a healthier lifestyle that is catered to user experience, thanks to Wear OS 6-powered One UI 8 Watch. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 series has already started receiving a second One UI 8 Watch beta.

Last week, Samsung opened up a beta program for the Galaxy Watch 6 lineup, delivering the first beta build, which certainly seems limited to South Korea but is presumably to be extended to the US as well. Now, the company is rolling out One UI 8 Watch beta 2 for the smartwatches, which is also available in South Korea, at least for now.

Therefore, it’s expected that the latest beta 2 will perhaps be available in the US over the course of time. Specifically, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic are getting the One UI 8 Watch beta 2 update, which is recognized with the version number ZYI5 and is all about bug fixes and other key improvements.

The beta update brings a few changes and improved performance; it fixes issues where the customized services are not turning on after connecting a new phone and, lastly, fixes the improper functioning of AOD when setting a specific watch face in order to provide a smoother and more optimized user experience.

Well, the latest One UI 8 Watch beta program is now available for the Galaxy Watch 6 series, following the conclusion of the beta phase for Galaxy Watch 7 models, while it remains to be seen whether Samsung extends the ongoing beta program for older-generation Galaxy Watches or not. Until then, the Watch 6 owners can now enroll themselves in the program.
