Samsung Galaxy S26 series is just a few months away from debuting, and its Pro model is anticipated to feature key camera upgrades.
Despite zero official details regarding the specifications, features, processor, and design of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, leaks and rumors are continuously blowing in the market to tease Galaxy fans.
The series is rumored to include three variants with brand-new names: Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company is expected to launch these flagship devices in late January 2026.
A new leak revealed that the standard variant, the Galaxy S26 Pro, will feature an upgraded 50MP primary sensor, a 1/1.3-inch unit instead of 1/1.56 inches. It is being speculated via a post on X, shared by @LAFadhel.
According to the post, Samsung is considering offering a 3x sensor to the Galaxy S26 Pro anda 200MP main sensor and a 50MP ultrawide sensor to the Galaxy S26 Edge. However, the company has yet to reveal the official camera specifications for these devices, so it will be interesting to see whether these leaked camera upgrades will come into existence.
A few weeks back, it was already reported that the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Edge will bring major camera upgrades. Recently, leaked CAD renders of the Pro model showcase a camera island, a pill-shaped vertical module that houses three lenses, and refined lens styling gives the phone a more premium appearance.
