Beginning from South Korea, the first stable One UI 8 firmware is already out for the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra, which are identified with the version numbers X710XXU5DYI7, X810XXU5DYI7, and X910XXU5DYI7, respectively. The update will gradually reach even more countries over the course of time.
Specifically, the latest Android 16-based stable One UI 8 version brings a more refined and new UI element that provides a cleaner and sophisticated look to the entire interface.
It packs certain key functionalities that are powered by Android 16 on top, which takes the user experience to the next level. Other than that, the update further brings various significant upgrades for productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility, alongside adding new features to Galaxy AI, camera, multitasking, health tracking, and more.
At the same time, the latest update also comes with the September 2025 security patch that significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security while also protecting the device against potential threats to provide a more secure user experience.
