Samsung is gearing up to introduce its first multi-folding device called the Galaxy Tri-Fold, which is now anticipated to launch at the APEC summit.
The Korean tech giant has been working on its Galaxy Tri-Fold for so long, and it has already announced that it will launch the device sometime by the end of this year. Dozens of leaks and rumors have suggested multiple launch timelines for this tri-folding phone, but the official date has yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, a new report from Yonhap News Agency reported the new launch date for the Galaxy Tri-Fold phone. According to the report, Samsung will introduce the device during the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is scheduled to take place in the southeastern city of Gyeongju from October 31 to November 1.
According to the previously leaked reports, the Galaxy Tri-Fold will bring a major camera upgrade of up to 100x zoom. It can continue apps on the main screen and has other features like the Samsung Internet app with Galaxy AI activated, DeX support, and home screen apps from the cover display that can be copied over to the main screen.
The company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold in the US market. However, Samsung has yet to release any official statement regarding this launch timeline, so it remains to be seen whether the report will come true.
