Samsung opened up the One UI 8 beta program, starting off with the Galaxy S25 family and expanding it to even more Galaxy phones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 were both part of the beta program, and now, the company is looking towards expanding the stable update in more countries other than South Korea.
After releasing the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 in the home country, Samsung has already started rolling out the update in more major countries, where the Galaxy A35 is currently getting the update in Europe, while the update for the Galaxy A55 is expanding in India.
At the same time, the current stable firmware for the Galaxy A35 is identified with the version number A356BXXU6CY18. Also, the update significantly carries the September 2025 security patch as well.
Samsung’s One UI 8 version may not be as massive as One UI 7, but it is the most significant update that runs Android 16 on top to provide a more sleek and intuitive design for the UI, adding more vibrant colors, neat and clean widgets, and optimized layouts that eventually take the user experience to the next level.
Apart from this, the update further brings various new and improved features while also adding upgrades for productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility, alongside multitasking, camera, and health tracking to provide a smoother, more stable, and more optimized experience to the users.
