Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 7 users are facing green line issues on the main display, just within the first three months of usage.
A few months back, in July this year, Samsung launched its seventh-generation foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Among these models, Galaxy Z Fold 7 has broken the previous records of its predecessor and set new pre-order and sales benchmarks. This shows that the device is in high demand among customers.
Samsung equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with massive upgrades, such as design, durability, slimness, a smarter camera, and advanced features. Although, despite all of these major upgrades, Galaxy Z Fold 7 users are struggling with the older green line issue.
A tipster, @yabhishekhd, shared a post on X, revealing that a random Galaxy Z Fold 7 user is reporting the green line issue. He also stuck an image with the post, showcasing two horizontal green lines on the folding screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, where the first line appeared slightly below the middle of the screen, while the second line was at the bottom.
Noticeably, the tipster says that the affected user hasn’t shared any posts regarding how the green line occurred; for instance, whether the lines started appearing right after the software update or any physical drop. However, following the previous green line cases, the issue is usually tied to hardware rather than software. Currently, it’s unclear whether this issue is limited to this user or widespread.
