Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25 Ultra are in impressively high demand in the Japanese market, as both of these devices achieved record-breaking sales growth.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra earlier in Q1 2025, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is in early Q3 2025, along with their sibling models. In several regions, these smartphones have already led the market with impressive sales.
Now, Samsung shared a new sales metric for these smartphones in Japan during the event celebrating the 15th anniversary of the launch of the Galaxy S series, showcasing impressive sales growth.
According to the shared figures, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 sold 180% more than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Whereas the Galaxy S25 Ultra grew 150% more than the last-generation Galaxy S24 Ultra in the same period.
Regarding this impressive sales growth, the company’s representative said that one of the reasons behind this growth is the sophisticated design, outstanding performance, and groundbreaking AI experience of the devices.
Samsung is now looking forward to strengthening its position in Japan by expanding its omnichannel sales strategy, including deeper cooperation with mobile carriers, electronics retail chains, and online e-commerce systems.
Recently, the company also said that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 continues to steal the spotlight in the US, as people are making the transition from their S series’ Ultra models, which have significantly increased, making up nearly 30% of Galaxy Z Fold 7 purchases.
