Samsung started releasing the latest Android 16-based stable One UI 8 update last month, and there has been no looking back since then. The company is continuously delivering the stable update for its Galaxy devices, from its premium flagships and mid-tier to its budget models. Now, it looks like rugged devices, the XCover series, are also joining the update list.
Significantly, Samsung is moving forward rapidly with the stable One UI 8 rollout, and unexpectedly, the Galaxy XCover 7 is already receiving the newest stable update, which has been identified with the version number G556BXXUBDYIA.
Also, it’s important to note that the Android 16-based update for the rugged device is currently available in different countries, including Malaysia, Vietnam, New Zealand, Thailand, and the Philippines, while more eligible regions are expected to follow shortly.
Specifically, One UI 8 brings more new and redesigned UI elements with more vibrant colors, improved widgets, and enhanced layouts that are further powered by Android 16, which takes the entire user experience to the next level. At the same time, the update further brings upgrades for Samsung apps while also adding more new features that provide a smooth, efficient, and seamless user experience.
