Samsung could make a massive 10.1 trillion profit in Q3 2025

Samsung’s Q3 2025 substantial business progress is predicted to be the highest since 2022, with an operating profit of approximately 10.1 trillion won, which will be quite significant for the firm to lead the market and regain its leading position.

A new report via Reuters reveals that, according to data from LSEG SmartEstimate, Samsung is highly anticipated to report an operating profit of 10.1 trillion won for the Q3 2025, i.e., July to September period.

If the prediction comes true, then it will be a 10% increase compared to the same period last year, points out a massively strong recovery in its business. The figure would represent the company’s highest Q3 earnings since 2022, and one of the key reasons behind this is a strong demand for conventional memory chips.

The company continues to hold on to its profits in the global market, as the Q3 marks a significant period in the journey. However, now its recovery is pushed by better standard memory chip pricing despite weaker sales.

Noticeably, not all areas of the memory business performed well, as Samsung saw unsatisfactory profit in high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips, due to its failure to enter Nvidia’s HBM supply chain. Apart from this, the US restrictions on advanced chip sales to China limited its growth.

In a few recent months, Samsung has earned crucial orders from major brands such as Tesla, OpenAI, and Apple. It will be interesting to see how profitable these orders will be for the company.
