Verizon-Locked Galaxy S23 FE starts receiving One UI 8.0 update in the USA

Samsung is constantly distributing the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 update for its Galaxy devices; meanwhile, it’s time for the Galaxy S23 FE to receive the update in more countries.

While the fan edition member of the S23 family, the Galaxy S23 FE has already received the new software, however, it was only limited to the home country, South Korea. Now, the company is looking towards expanding the update to more countries, and thus, the S23 FE units have started getting the update in the US.

Specifically, the latest One UI 8 firmware for the Galaxy S23 FE is identified with the version number S711USQU6EYIF and is currently available for the Verizon carrier-locked devices in the US. Also, the update is expected to expand to other countries in the near future.

At the same time, the current software significantly integrates the One UI 8 version that runs Android 16 on top, which apparently brings new UI elements with vibrant colors, improved widgets, and layouts, which takes the entire user experience to the next level.

Other than that, the update adds various new and interesting features for the camera, multitasking, and Galaxy AI, while also improving and optimizing the software for providing a cleaner and more sophisticated experience to the users. Also, the update further comes with the September 2025 security patch that focuses on improving the device’s overall security, functionality, and performance, which leads to a secure user experience.
