Samsung Galaxy S26+ appeared on the IMEI Database, confirming its arrival

Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S26 series is the talk of the town regarding how many models it will include; meanwhile, its Plus variant, Galaxy S26+, appears on the IMEI Database.

​The Korean tech giant has been working on its upcoming Galaxy S26 series for so long, which is highly anticipated to debut in early 2026. Initially, it was expected that the company was considering replacing the Plus variant of the lineup with the Edge model.

​However, that is not the case anymore since a recent report revealed that due to the low sales rate of the Galaxy S25 Edge, the company is shutting down the Edge lineup, which means that the Galaxy S26 series will include the Plus variant. If this report comes true, then the lineup will include three models –

​A few days back, it was reported that under the hood, Samsung started working on the Plus Variant (Galaxy S26+). Meanwhile, a new report from SmartPrix revealed that the Galaxy S26+ has now appeared on the GSMA IMEI Database with the dedicated model number SM-S947B.

​The appearance of the Galaxy S26 Plus on the well-certified database confirmed the existence of the device and also suggests the arrival along with its sibling Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. It will be interesting to see exactly what will happen next.
