Samsung releases October 2025 Security Update for Galaxy A56

It’s been a week since Samsung started delivering the October 2025 security update for its Galaxy devices, initiating the rollout with the S25 family. While only a few devices have joined the release, the company has headed towards the Galaxy A56, as the device has started receiving the update.

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy A56 owners, which includes the October 2025 security update.

The new firmware is identified with the version number, A566BXXU6BYIF, and is currently available in Europe, while it’s obvious that the update will take some time to spread all over the country over the coming weeks.

At the same time, however, the latest update although looks like a normal security patch, but noticeably, the U acronym in the build number eventually suggests that Samsung has topped up the newest firmware with some additional changes for the Galaxy A56 models that are not listed in the latest security patch.
