Samsung is already continuing with the October 2025 security update rollout for its Galaxy devices; meanwhile, the company is releasing the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 models, which have debuted with One UI 8, out of the box.
The rollout process for the current foldables has already begun, while the new software update significantly integrates the October 2025 security update, which has been identified with the version numbers F966NKSS5AYJ3 and F766NKSS5AYJ3, respectively.
Noticeably, the update is currently available in Samsung’s home country, South Korea, and it’s expected to expand to even more countries over the coming weeks.
More specifically, according to the details presented in the October 2025 security update bulletin by Samsung, the latest update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly improves the device’s overall security, functionality, and performance for a secure user experience, which also protects the device against potential threats.
At the same time, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations for smoother functionality.
Well, the October patch is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 owners; thus, they can now download the latest version via Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
