Samsung to begin Galaxy S26 & S26 Plus mass production in January 2026

Samsung is gearing up to launch its flagship Galaxy S26 series next year and anticipates beginning mass production of the Base and Plus models in January 2026.

The Korean tech giant has been working on the Galaxy S26 models for so long and was supposed to launch the series sometime between January and February 2026. However, a new report suggests that the company will begin the mass production of base models in January 2026.

In recent days, several leaks and reports regarding the Galaxy S26 launch timeline have surfaced online, according to which the company is considering delaying the launch by two months, which means that it is supposed to be in March 2026.

Meanwhile, now a reliable blog, The Elec claims that Samsung is planning to begin mass production for the Standard and Plus variants of the series, i.e., the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus, in January 2026.

Whereas the mass production of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will begin in December 2025. This suggests that one of the reasons behind the delay in launch is the base models. Initially, the company planned to start mass production for all of these models this year in December.

However, Samsung has yet to release the official details regarding the mass production of the Galaxy S26 models; it will be interesting to see exactly what will happen next.
