Samsung’s One UI 8.5 beta seems to have been hit by a sudden barrier!

Samsung’s upcoming major OS, the One UI 8.5, has been the headline for quite some time. Since the latest flagships, the S25 series, are also supposed to gain access to the newer One UI 8.5 version, the wait has just got a little longer, as the beta program seems to have been hit by a sudden barrier!

Initially, the previous report has already cited a vision that Samsung is anticipated to begin the One UI 8.5 beta program, starting next month. However, this seems to be changing now, causing a delay in the beginning of the beta phase.

Basically, the Galaxy S25 series runs One UI 8 update on board, making it the first among to be eligible to begin the latest One UI 8.5 beta program. At the same time, according to a fresh report from the tipster, Tarun Vats on X, it seems like the Galaxy S25 family is not lucky enough, at least for now.

On the other hand, the tipster claimed that it looks like Samsung is in no mood to progress with the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series and is perhaps going to be delayed further.

Not just this, the most probable cause for this delay might be the Galaxy S26+, as Samsung initially appeared to be replacing the model with the Galaxy S26 Edge. But again, reports went in favor of the Plus model, claiming its return. Therefore, due to this internal shuffling of the Galaxy S26 Edge with the Plus again, it appears like the November One UI 8.5 beta program rollout seems unlikely.

Well, the exact cause of the delay is still unknown, while it is important to note that such reports can’t be considered true. Nevertheless, the Galaxy audience needs to wait until Samsung officially shares any essential details regarding the One UI 8.5 beta launch timeline.
