One UI 8.5 could introduce a secret camera control feature that pro camera fans will love!

Samsung Galaxy audiences are already counting on the company’s upcoming major software, One UI 8.5. While the leaks have been continuously providing a slight hint about the changes that will be followed with the Android 16-based update, a fresh report comes with new information.

​Since leaks have already uncovered a lot of new features and other changes, including a few camera improvements, alongside the reports suggesting a delay in the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta program, a freshly leaked One UI 8.5 build brings good news for Camera fans!

​According to the details presented by Android Authority, a new leaked One UI 8.5 build uncovered a string code, suggesting that Samsung is perhaps looking towards bringing a few presets for the camera’s Pro mode. These presets will significantly allow users to quickly switch to their preferred Pro mode preset for taking pictures, without any hassle of manually changing these controls each time.

​At the same time, another string described that these new presets will further let users choose their preferred camera, such as telephoto, wide, ultrawide, and front camera lenses, for which they are changing the settings.

​Not just this, Galaxy users will be able to customize the following tools for managing their Pro mode presets:

​Well, the leaked One UI 8.5 build also suggests that these new Pro mode presets can even be shared with other Galaxy users via the Quick Share app. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen whether Samsung will hold to this functionality well, as various Galaxy phones vary in their camera specifications and features.
