Google mistakenly hints Galaxy Tri-Fold is all set to launch

Samsung is highly anticipated to introduce its Galaxy Tri-Fold this week at the APEC 2025 summit; meanwhile, Google accidentally reveals the device is all set to launch.

A few months back, the Korean tech giant announced that it would launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold and XR Headset by the end of this year. Fortunately, as per its announcement, it has already launched the Galaxy XR headset and is now looking forward to launching the multi-folding device.

According to the recent report, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold at the APEC 2025 summit, which will take place from October 31 to November 1, in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, South  Korea.

Meanwhile, a reliable blog, Android Authority, revealed that while analyzing the code in the Google app version 16.43.60.sa.arm64, experts discovered strings of code related to the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold device.

This data appeared in Google’s internal list, including a name “TriFold,” which is usually used to identify models eligible for the free Gemini AI offer. Noticeably, there’s no “Galaxy Z” prefix, but it’s not the concern, as many other Galaxy models are also listed similarly.

One of the interesting facts is the appearance of the number “2025,” showing that the Galaxy Tri-Fold can be commercialized in the near future. Samsung is expected to launch the device in selected regions, including Korea, Greater Chinese markets (Singapore and Taiwan), and the UAE (possibly), but there’s no possibility the device will be available in the US market.
