Samsung is making another innovative move to transform its underrated mobile browser into a popular one, and guess what! The company is preparing to introduce a PC version of its cool Samsung Internet Browser for the first time.
While Samsung’s dedicated browser is slowly becoming popular among fans, leaving behind its rivals, it offers some interesting features such as Galaxy AI-powered Browsing Assist, password-based tabs for additional security, customizable homepages that are customizable and much more.
Well, until now, Samsung has reserved its Internet Browser for Galaxy phones, and now, the company just announced via Newsroom that the company is paving the way to extend its Samsung Internet Browser to PC, starting today, October 30th.
Basically, the company is supposed to open a dedicated beta program for its browser on PC for the first time ever, which will be available for users having Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 and higher) in the US and South Korea, and it plans to go for a wider expansion in the future.
Most prominently, designed to provide a seamless experience across the Galaxy ecosystem, Samsung Internet for PC allows users to sync their browsing data, including bookmarks and browsing history, seamless browsing when switching between mobile phones and PC, ensuring efficient cross-device connectivity and experience.
Not just this, Samsung Internet for PC further brings a smarter yet intelligent layer of Galaxy AI, where, when logged into Samsung Account, users will be able to use a few essential Galaxy AI-powered functions such as Browsing Assist for immediate summarizing and translations that lead to more effective productivity.
At the same time, Samsung has also focused on building a secure foundation for efficient privacy and security, and the Samsung Internet for PC is integrated with a new feature, Smart anti-tracking, which instantly blocks third-party attackers to manage and ensure protection in real-time.
