Samsung is developing its next-generation in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, which again appeared on the Geekbench listing, revealing the new performance results compared to the previous time.
For so long, under the hood, Samsung has been working on the Exynos 2600 chipset to introduce next year with the Galaxy S26 series; however, now it’s confirmed. Samsung at the Q3 2025 earnings call confirmed using its in-house Exynos 2600 chipset to power the Galaxy S26 series at least in selected regions.
The Exynos 2600 chip has already appeared on Geekbench, which revealed quite impressive results that it is faster than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite and Apple’s A19 Pro chipsets. Meanwhile, now the chipset has again been listed on Geekbench, and surprisingly, this time the results are even better.
A reliable tipster, Jukan, via his X handle, revealed that the Exynos 2600 revisited Geekbench, and according to the listing, the Single-Core of the chip scored 3455, while the Multi-Core scored 11621. While in the previous listing, the single core scored 3,309, and the multi-core scored 11,256, which matches the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 performance.
The chipset is still behind Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which scored 3,832 in single-core and 12,170 in multi-core. However, the Exynos 2600 is still in the developing and testing phase; it will be interesting to see whether the final performance scores will remain the same.
