Samsung is already working on a new smartphone codenamed “More Slim,” which is supposed to be commercialized as Galaxy S26 Edge. Now, a new report has leaked massive details regarding this device.
A few days back, it was reported that Samsung was considering shutting down its Edge lineup due to the lower sales rate of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which suggested that the Galaxy S26 series would not include the Edge instead of the Plus variant.
Meanwhile, a most recent report revealed that under the hood, Samsung is already working on a new smartphone device, which is codenamed “More Slim”; however, it hasn’t been confirmed whether the company will commercialize it as Galaxy S26 Edge.
Now, a user on X shared a post revealing the massive details of the upcoming “More Slim” device. According to the post, the device may measure 5.56mm in thickness, which will make it thinner than the iPhone Air. It could feature a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120Hz.
Despite designing the slimmest smartphone, Samsung could offer it a 4,300mAh or larger tacked Li-polymer battery, leveraging cutting-edge cell chemistry to balance endurance with design.
It is reported to be powered by the 2nm-based Exynos 2600 chipset. The camera setup could include a 50MP wide + ultrawide, with an options periscope telephoto lens. However, these specifications are not revealed by any authentic source; it’s pretty hard to rely on these details. It remains to be seen whether the device will come into existence, and if possible, then these leaked details will come true.
