Samsung has already showcased its first multi-folding, Galaxy Tri-Fold, last week at the APEC 2025 summit, and now the first detailed look of the device has surfaced online.
Transparently, the Korean tech giant has taken enough time to build its very first triple-folding foldable smartphone to launch it by the end of 2026. Finally, after a long teasing period, the company has officially given a sneak peek at the device during the APEC 2025 Summit held in South Korea.
Meanwhile, now the gentility of media outlet SBS Korea (via) shows the first detailed design of the Galaxy Tri-Fold right from its prototype displayed at the summit. At first glance, the device appears to be a dual-hinge version of the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 7.
According to the report, Samsung has designed the Galaxy Tri-Fold in such a manner that it gives an impressive and polished look even in its early stages, and it doesn’t even appear like a test model that will be even better at launch. Reportedly, the company is also rumored to bring the device to the global market in 2026.
Coming to the back side of the device, it features three sensors which are aligned vertically and rest inside a bump raised over the back panel, and a similar camera island, rings, and LED flash positioning are housed in the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
While unfolding the Galaxy Tri-Fold completely, it looks quite sleek. Samsung used a dual-hinge mechanism that supports the entire foldable OLED panel module and its functioning. Overall, Samsung has designed the device pretty well so that it can stand strong against its rival, Huawei. The device is said to be released initially in China and South Korea, and is also expected to be available in selected global markets.
