Samsung Galaxy S26 series is a few months away from its official launch; meanwhile, the live image of the Plus variant (Galaxy S26 Plus) has now surfaced online.
According to the latest reports, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S26 series in late January 2026; however, the exact launch date has yet to be confirmed. Initially, it was reported that the company is considering replacing the Plus variant with the Galaxy S26 Edge. Although it is no longer the case, due to the lower sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge, Samsung has decided to close the Edge lineup.
Meanwhile, a tipster, Phonefuturist, on X, shared the Galaxy S26 Plus live image in black color variant. The newly leaked live image of the device aligns with the CAD renders that emerged earlier this week.
The image showcases the device from the back side, revealing the new camera design, i.e., island, which gives a bold appearance. The camera setup includes three cameras aligned vertically inside a camera bump. The island is bumped above the rear panel, and the ring goes above the surface of the island, which increases the thickness of the device from that particular area.
Apart from this, the tipster mentioned that the prototype is running a One UI 8.5 beta version. It will be available with at least 12GB of RAM & 512GB internal storage. He also praised the camera and battery performance of the device. According to the previous report will be powered by the Exynos 2600 in most regions.
