Samsung has begun internal development of its latest mid-range Galaxy A27 smartphone, set to launch next year, according to the report.
Notably, the Korean tech giant is actively expanding its mid-range Galaxy A lineup, having already launched several devices under this lineup this year, including the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A56, and Galaxy A17. Meanwhile, it is already working on launching more devices next year as the successor to these devices.
A new report from a reliable blog, GalaxyClub, revealed that Samsung has started working on the Galaxy A27 with the dedicated model number SM-A276. However, apart from the model number, the report hasn’t mentioned any notable details regarding the device’s specifications.
However, it seems that the Galaxy A27 could continue to maintain the Galaxy A26’s well-regarded hardware platform, including a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, and a 50MP main camera. Since there’s a lack of information about the device, it’s expected that more leaks and reports will come into existence soon.
Following the previous model’s launch timeline, it’s expected that the upcoming Galaxy A27 could launch in March or April 2026 and will run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. Potentially, the device could run One UI 8.5 if Samsung manages to complete the software development phase.
