Samsung hosted the Silicon Valley Future Wireless Summit 2025 in Mountain View, California, dedicated to discussing possibilities of how artificial intelligence can be efficient in building a more advanced communication network for the next 6G technology.
The summit was based on the theme “Unlocking New Possibilities with AI-Centric Networks,” which attracted several representatives from telecommunications operators, manufacturers, government agencies, and academic institutions.
The telecommunications industry has increasingly shifted its focus to 6G technology and the integration of AI into networks. The telecommunication industry giants are actively working on bringing the 6G technology and AI interaction into networks.
The summit has been divided into three key sessions, as mentioned below –
- The new AI-Driven Services session was dedicated to how AI could help to enable innovative wireless network services, including several technologies such as AR-XR and Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAQ).
- In the AI Radio Innovation session, giants discussed AI-RAN technology and how AI can optimize the performance of wireless networks.
- The AI Network Innovation session was conducted to examine the impacts of AI-native communication technology.
Regarding this, JinGuk Jeong, Executive Vice President and Head of the Advanced Communications Research Center at Samsung Research, stated, “We are focusing on integrating AI into communication systems to maximize user experience and network operational efficiency,” and also added “Through the Silicon Valley Future Wireless Summit, we will expand collaboration with the telecommunications industry and continue our efforts to advance next-generation communication technology.”
A few days back, Samsung revealed crucial insights on 6G wireless communications technology, and also collaborated with SoftBank to bring 6G & AI-RAN innovations.
