Samsung’s One UI 8.5 has continuously been in the spotlight for quite some time now. A host of leaks and rumors have already suggested how significantly the next major OS is taking shape. Meanwhile, the One UI 8 beta timeline has appeared for the first time.
In case you missed it! It was earlier reported that Samsung is about to begin the latest One UI 8.5 beta program sometime by the end of November. But due to a certain technical fault or barrier, it is perhaps delayed for a reason.
At the same time, a fresh report has just appeared online that points out a suitable map for the first time of the opening of the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta program.
Specifically, according to a user named ya_sking12767, on X, suggested a possible timeline for the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series owners. The post claimed that Samsung is probably planning to release the latest beta program, beginning from December 8th, while also suggesting that the upcoming beta channel is supposed to open up in two different phases, including Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Other than that, the reliable tipster, Tarun Vats, via X, further pointed out that a few sources have reported that phase 1 of the One UI 8.5 beta program is supposed to happen from December 8th, while beta 2 is expected to begin from December 22nd, and lastly, Beta 3 is supposed to start around January 5th.
In other words, Phase 1 of the One UI 8.5 beta program is probably expected to begin on December 8th, and Phase 2 might start on December 22nd. Phase 1 is reserved for countries, including South Korea, Germany, the US and the UK, while Phase 2 includes India and Poland.
Well, Samsung seems to be getting prepared for the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series; nevertheless, it is expected that the next generation Galaxy S26 series is supposed to debut alongside the One UI 8.5 version; however, this is just a mere leak and could always be changed as per the decision taken from Samsung’s side.
